Berkeley Studios began life as a single room rehearsal
space in Berkeley Street in Glasgow in 1983.
In 1988, the studio moved to 54 Washington Street,
and became known as Berkeley 2, where 3 rooms were
originally opened.
Between 1990 and 2000 a further 4 rooms were built.
In 2003, the Annexe at 93 Lancefield Street was opened
with 2 rooms.
In late November 2007, the Washinton Street location
was closed & the Annexe is now our sole location,
currently with 11 fully equipped rooms available.
Throughout the life of Berkeley Studios, we have
seen many bands passing through our doors, from Deacon
Blue and The Blue Nile in the early years to Snow
Patrol and The Killers in more recent times. See our
